Iyad Allawi Makes Move to Become Iraqi Prime Minister
Fresh facts are emerging from the Iraqi unsettled political clime. Mr. Allawi is taking steps to win the prime minister’s position of the country. The move of Mr. Iyad Allawi to court the friendship and support of the cleric Sayyad Moqtada al-Sadr was in an effort to get some support from the home front so that he will be able to achieve the aim of becoming the Iraqi prime minister.
