Because of this, the standard of living in Iraq is still low and the cost of living is still very high. The most disturbing part of the whole situation is that things are actually getting worse.
The Arab league claimed that all it is waiting for is the reaction of the political groups to the concessional move and that once they finally make up their minds; the Arab league is ready to step in and do whatever they will have to do to help get the Iraqi nation moving forward again.
The main question here is whether the Arab league is the solution provider that Iraq and Iraqis had been waiting for to help in resolving this whole matter. It can only be hoped that the Arab league knows what should be done and how to get things done.
